Koei Tecmo Says Nintendo Switch 2 Is Closer To Xbox Series S Than PS4
Koei Tecmo producer Takuto Edagawa has provided some interesting comments on the raw power of Nintendo Switch 2.
The producer said in an interview that the power of the system feels closer to a Xbox Series S, rather than a PlayStation 4:
“There are a lot of characteristics when it comes to raw computing power so it’s difficult to generalize, but I think it can be thought as closer to the Series S.”
Edagawa’s remarks are not out of the ordinary, as an early analysis of the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware showed than its CPU and GPU are closer to Xbox Series S than PS4. This of course bodes well for porting games from the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S to Nintendo Switch 2.
