Previously, The Pokemon Company revealed Lapras as the Pokemon ambassador for Miyagi prefecture, Japan. As part of that collaboration, it looks like a cool and blue boat service will be taking visitors around the nearby ocean for the next few months!

Oshima Kisen (a ship company) has announced that it will be operating Lapras-themed boat rides at Kesennuma Bay, starting today. While we don’t have any official photos, the boat(s) will reportedly feature illustrations of Lapras on the inside and outside.

For now, the service is planned to run from 10 August 2019 – 4 November 2019. Check out more details below (rough translation), from the Kesennuma tourism website:

※ If the passenger is under elementary school and accompanied by an adult (family and relatives), they can ride for free.

Boarding only for infants is not possible.
