Looks Like Someone Bought Mario Kart World Because They Thought It Works On Switch
It appears that some consumers have purchased Mario Kart World by accident because they thought it works on Nintendo Switch.
A Facebook Marketplace listing of the game revealed that its seller bought Mario Kart World because they thought it works on Nintendo Switch, only to find out later that it’s only compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. Unfortunately, the packaging was already opened, so they had no choice but to sell it at USD70 (USD9.99 below the suggested retail price):
This incident has led to users discussing how this could have happened, as Nintendo Switch 2 game packaging looks very different and distinct from Nintendo Switch game packaging, considering the big ‘2’ in the logo and the red case. Given that there are people not familiar with video games, such incidents could happen not just with Nintendo Switch 2, but even with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
