Following a release date reveal last week, publisher Crest and developer Studio HG have released an animated trailer for their upcoming roguelite action game Metallic Child produced by none other than Studio TRIGGER!

The trailer features an original theme song “Mother” sung by Naomo Ohzora, written by Mashiro Uchida, composed by Ayami Takita, and arranged by Seiya Haga.

Having started this game, you accidentally connected with the android “Rona” who is seeking help in the Universe.

As previously announced, Metallic Child will launch digitally for the Nintendo Switch on September 16. A Japanese physical release that comes with a “premium music disc” is also available for pre-order from various retailers for 3,980 yen.
