Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Subway Ad Mistakenly Says Its “Out Now”

A few months back, Nintendo gave us a deep dive into Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which nevertheless neglected to include a release date for the title.

Over in London, an ad for the game was spotted by Reddit user Orchestar in the London Underground. Despite there being no confirmed release date for the game, the ad says that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is “Out Now” for the Switch 2.

This image lead to a great amount of speculation as to what it could mean, with the following theories being thrown around:

  • The advertisers accidentally put the wrong ad up.
  • Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was originally meant to launch by now, but was delayed.
  • The game might be shadow-dropped sometime in the near future.

At the time of this writing, there has yet to be any official update from Nintendo about the game. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
