My Nintendo Store Japan has announced new details for the second Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order lottery.

Applications for the second lottery will begin on the afternoon of April 28, 2025 and end on May 19, 11am Japan time. Requirements for the second lottery are the same as the first lottery, namely 50-hour Nintendo Switch playtime, at least 1 year of cumulative Nintendo Switch Online membership, and an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription at the time of application and purchase.

Applicants who failed to secure a Switch 2 in the first pre-order lottery will automatically be registered in the second one, so no further action is required.

Results for the second lottery are scheduled to be announced on May 23 afternoon, and orders will be delivered on June 5, 2025.
