NES/Famicom Spirit Board Event Heading To Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Starts 4 January 2019
Nintendo has unveiled the next spirit-board event heading to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
The event, titled “Now You’re Playing With Spirit Power!“ will commence on 4 January 2019. Smash players visiting the spirit-board mode will encounter more spirits from the 8-bit era of gaming – such as Donkey Kong and Kid Dracula.

As usual, defeating these promotional spirits will net you more SP than usual – so it’s worth jumping back into the fray! We’ll report back if Nintendo announces any further details about the in-game event.
