The Pokemon Company has released a surprise showcase from the “Pokémon World Ecological Society”, seemingly revealing a new Pokemon that will appear in Pokemon Scarlet And Violet.

The new Pokemon is apparently called “Wiglett”, and although it looks very similar to Diglett, the presenters in the showcase describe it as a completely new Pokemon rather than a Paldean regional variant. You can check out some screenshots of the Pokemon taken by Serebii.net below:

Presumably, a full reveal for this Pokemon will happen soon, similar to the reveal of Grafaiai, we will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
