Earlier today during the Terry Bogard livestream for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, some new Mii Fighter costumes along with the Version 6.0 Update were detailed.

First off, five new Mii Fighter costumes for various characters from SNK games were revealed: Nakoruru, Ryo Sakazaki, Iori Yagami, Akira, and Jacky. They will be available for purchase via the eshop later today on November 6th.

Next, the new features for the Version 6.0 update were detailed. The changes are relatively minor compared to previous big updates, and comprise mainly of changes to online modes. Check out a summary below:

• Improvements to Battle Arenas
  • Can send preset messages to other players in the arena
  • Host can change the rules
  • Option to play on Omega or Battlefield Versions at random in arenas
  • Can set Elite Only Arenas
• New Arena Types
  • Elite Only
  • Public: Allows anyone to join Arenas

The Version 6.0 update will launch later today alongside Terry Bogard we will be sure to bring the full patchnotes once they are available.

    • The host player can now change some rules without having to shut down the arena.
    • The option “Random Battlefield and Ω Form” has been added to the stage settings.
    • You can now send set messages to each other inside an arena.
• General
  • Added support for the upcoming Simon and Incineroar amiibo figures.
  • The following downloadable content will be usable after purchase:
    • Terry + King of Fighters Stadium
    • Ryo Sakazaki Wig + Outfit
    • Nakoruru Wig + Outfit
    • Iori Yagami Wig + Outfit
    • Akira Wig + Outfit
    • Jacy Wig + Outfit
  • You cannot make videos of replays that contain DLC you have not purchased (fighters, stages, music, Mii Fighter costumes, etc.).
  • Game balance adjustments have been made.
  • Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.
  • Fixes and changes to fighters have been made.
