Nintendo Destroys Two Large Youtube Channels That Uploaded Smash Bros. Ultimate Music

This weekend, two popular video game music Youtube channels, Crunchii and Dystifyzer, uploaded extended and original versions of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate music two weeks before the game’s launch.

Both channels have a combined total of 140,000 subscribers. As you would probably expect, Nintendo wasn’t very happy to see the music uploaded weeks before the game. Crunchii was sent 21 copyright strikes and has lost access to their Youtube channel. This means he couldn’t add, delete, or edit any videos. Both Youtube channels are expected to be taken down in 7 days, in accordance with Youtube’s policy with copyright strikes.

Some subscribers are upset to see Nintendo taking action against both Crunchii and Dystifyzer, and thanked them for their long service to the video game community. Others, however, thought they deserved it.

What do you think about this?
