Nintendo Helps Troubleshoot 30 Year Old Super NES On The Phone
Twitter user @nathantolbert, who has owned a Super NES console for nearly 30 years, contacted Nintendo support as his SNES has went dead.
To his surprise, a lady from Nintendo of America’s customer support team helped to troubleshoot possible causes for 10 minutes. Unfortunately, as the company doesn’t have any spare parts for the SNES, they were not able to offer repairs for the system. It’s still pretty amazing to see Nintendo supporting discontinued products in whatever way they can!
My ancient Super Nintendo went POP and died, so on a whim I called the support number on the back just to see what would happen.
