Good news for those living in Hong Kong – you can now pre-order a Nintendo Switch 2 via My Nintendo Store without having to register for any lottery.

The only requirement for pre-ordering the console is having an active Nintendo Switch Online membership with one’s account set to Hong Kong. Both the Mario Kart World set and standalone console are available, and are estimated to ship starting June 9, 2025 (four days after release).

Currently, Hong Kong is the only territory where My Nintendo Store has relaxed their conditions for pre-ordering a Nintendo Switch 2. This indicates that demand is lower than expected in the region, and could probably explain why parallel imports are flowing to other countries.
