Strange news folks – earlier today, the official Animal Crossing website suffered from 20 minutes of downtime.

During the 20 minutes, no one was able to access the website. The official Nintendo website and other websites operated by Nintendo didn’t suffer from any downtime, so we speculate they were preparing something for it. If our speculation is true, we will probably find out more about Animal Crossing Switch during the Nintendo Direct.
