Nintendo has announced an official Joy-Con charging stand.

The stand allows players to mount up to two joy-cons for charging, positioned either vertically or horizontally. Previously, the only way for players to charge their Joy-cons would be to mount them onto the system itself, creating some inconvenient situations. Nintendo acknowledges this, and states that the new stand is useful for charging one set of Joy-cons while simultaneously playing with a different set. It is also compatible with the Famicom/NES Joy-cons.

The Joy-Con charging stand will be available to purchase from October 17th 2024.
