The latest edition of the Official Nintendo Magazine in Spain has provided a few new details for the upcoming Pokemon Nintendo Switch game.

A small section to the Pokemon Nintendo Switch game stated that the next entry in the series will be the 8th Generation Pokemon title. Players can expect a new region to explore and new Pokemon to capture. It was also mentioned that The Pokemon Company is reconsidering old mechanics of the Pokemon franchise to surprise fans with new mechanics, something that was rumored a few months ago.

Another point also talked about was the launch window of the Pokemon Switch game, still scheduled to come in “2018 or later“.

While this piece of information comes from the Official Nintendo Magazine, the magazine has made several mistakes when it comes to discussing about future Pokemon titles in the past. So take everything with a pinch of salt until an official announcement comes from Nintendo or The Pokemon Company.
