In a Reddit AMA for Owlboy, D-Pad Studio CEO Jo-Remi revealed how quickly the game made money upon its launch on Nintendo Switch.

Owlboy has done so well on Nintendo Switch that it turned a profit within 24 hours of its launch on the system alone. It took the company by complete surprise. Jo-Remi also said Owlboy’s success will greatly help fund the studio’s future projects.
