Last week at PAX East 2020, publisher THQ Nordic and developer Purple Lamp Studios featured Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated as part of their showing for the event.

At the booth, gaming press managed to get some hands on experience with the game and have since uploaded the footage online. You can check out one such video below, as originally published by Gematsu:

In addition, a few more details about the game’s multiplayer were discussed at the event:

• Squidward, Plankton, and Mr. Krabs will also be playable in the Horde mode (SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy were previously confirmed)
• There will be multiple different arenas
• Horde mode puts two players up against waves of robots, and then you square off with robot Squidward
