NintendoSoup Store is now taking international pre-orders for the Japanese exclusive Pokemon Center Souta Fujii Pikachu plush.

This Pikachu plush is being exclusively offered via the Japan-only New Shogi Kaikan crowdfunding campaign and will not be available at Pokemon Center locations in Japan and elsewhere, making it a highly desirable collectible item.

The Pikachu plush is based on Souta Fujii, one of the most famous professional Shogi players in Japan. The Pikachu plush is wearing the same type of clothing that Fujii wore during his Shogi match to get all of his Shogi titles. Being held in the Pikachu’s hands is a Shogi piece featuring Souta Fujii’s name and the “Osho” kanji in Japanese calligraphy.
