Pokemon Champions To Undergo Maintenance This Week, Several Bugs Being Addressed

The Pokemon Company has announced they are addressing some issues with Pokemon Champions.

As detailed in an official news post, several bugs and issues have been identified and are being worked on. Notably, the issue where players were having difficulty withdrawing their Pokemon from Champions and HOME is being addressed, and affected players should be able to access their Pokemon again now.

Bugs that have been identified and are being fixed are currently under development.

– The description of the “Leech Seed” state is incorrect.
Incorrect: Takes damage equal to 1/16 of maximum HP
Correct: Takes damage equal to 1/8 of maximum HP
However, the calculation is correct during battle.

– Under certain conditions, when both Pokémon Mega Evolve simultaneously, the order may be unintended.

– The gender of some Pokémon in the tutorial is incorrect.

– The gender of some Pokémon in the released coordinated teams is incorrect.

– When in Encore state, the ability “Lightning Rod” may not activate correctly.

– When viewing move details during battle, if you hover the cursor over “Mega Evolution” and press the B button, you cannot select the move.
*If this phenomenon occurs, you can avoid the inability to select the move by opening and closing the surrender window with the “-” button.

The above bugs are scheduled to be fixed in future data updates or maintenance.

Fixed bugs

– A communication error may occur when sending Pokémon on expeditions from Pokémon HOME.
We have resolved the issue for customers who were unable to send or withdraw Pokémon due to this error.

In addition, it has been confirmed that the game will be taken down for maintenance from April 9th 23:00 UTC to April 1oth  01:00 UTC. It is not known if this maintenance will address any of the identified bugs.
