The Pokemon Company has announced the month Pokemon: Detective Pikachu will premiere in theaters in South Korea.

Pokemon: Detective Pikachu will appear in theaters in May 2019, the same time as the North American and European release. South Korea is the first and only Asian country to have a launch window for Pokemon: Detective Pikachu at this point of time. Launch windows for Japan and the rest of Asia remain uncertain.
