Pokemon Pokopia And IKEA Japan Collab Announced

IKEA Japan has announced a collaboration with Pokemon Pokopia.

The collab commemorates IKEA’s 20th anniversary in Japan, and consists of a few parts. The first is an IKEA cloud island that will be available for players starting from April 1st. Players can enter the Cloud Island code in Pokemon Pokopia to visit the island, which is decorated with rooms by IKEA’s internal designers, meant to evoke the feeling of rooms with IKEA furniture. The Cloud Island will be open until June 30th 2026, while the real life inspirations will be available to visit at IKEA Japan stores until May 10th 2026.

In addition, IKEA Japan stores will have a few physical events running from April 18th to May 30th 2026:

  • A stamp rally where visitors will be able to go around the stores to collect 7 stamps by answering IKEA trivia questions.
  • Original IKEA and Pokopia collaboration stickers for spending 5000 yen in a single transaction.
  • Pokopia decorations on dessert items in the IKEA Swedish restaurant.
