Amid the ongoing global pandemic situation, it looks like Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda is also keeping himself safe…in electrifying style!

Recently, the Pokemon Sword/Shield producer shared a fun photo of his latest face shield – which comes in the shape of Pikachu! It even includes Pikachu’s rosy red cheeks and the Pokemon’s trademark ears!

Given what appears to be copyright text near one of the red cheeks, it’s not clear if this fun face shield will be available elsewhere in Japan. We’ll report back if we see it pop up again in the future.
