The Pokemon Company has announced a massive new event for Pokemon Scarlet And Violet.

Starting tomorrow, Tera Raid events featuring Shiny variants of the Legendary Treasures of Ruin will be run. If players manage to defeat each raid Pokemon 1 million times, the Shiny variant of that Pokemon will be distributed to everyone via Mystery Gift at a later date.

The raids will be run according to the following schedule:

• Shiny Wo-Chien: Friday, August 8, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC
• Shiny Chien-Pao: Friday, August 22, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC
• Shiny Ting-Lu: Friday, September 5, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC
• Shiny Chi-Yu: Friday, September 19, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC

There will also be some special Mass Outbreak events run during each raid event period, with increased shiny rates:

• From July 23rd through August 3rd, Capsakid will spawn in Paldea, Petilil in Kitakami and Oddish in the Blueberry Academy
• From August 4th through August 17th, Frigibax will spawn in Paldea, Snorunt in Kitakami and Cubchoo in the Blueberry Academy
• From August 18th through September 31st, Paldean Wooper will spawn in Paldea, Mudbray in Kitakami and Drilbur in the Blueberry Academy
• From September 1st through September 14th, Charcadet will spawn in Paldea, Vulpix in Kitakami and Numel in the Blueberry Academy
