Pokémon Throwdown ft. WolfeyVGC Twitch Rivals Has Its Champions

The two day long Pokémon Throwdown ft. WolfeyVGC Twitch Rivals competition has ended and we have our winners!

Twitch just concluded a Pokemon VGC event featuring creators from across the streaming platform as they competed in a speedrun of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on Day 1 and battled against each other in Day 2.

On Day 1, we saw eddaket take first place in the Superlative and PvE portion which involved speedrunning the game and scoring points by completing in game objectives.

On Day 2, the competitors battled each other with VGC rules in various divisions determined by their wins in a round robin set up with a total of 61 participants.

We saw BelowZer0TV win the top spot for the top performing players resulting in a clean sweep of the Day 2 event with zero losses.

The prizes were varied as you can see below with the prize pools being $20,000 for the PvE portion and $20,000 for the PvP portion.
