IP holders of the Pokemon franchise, namely Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc have registered a trademarked called ウルトラシャイニー (Ultra Shiny) in Japan.

It’s unclear what is the purpose behind the trademark – whether it’s for a new Pokemon TCG lineup or Pokemon game. We will probably find out in the future!
