Pokemon World Championships 2023 Events And Merch Detailed

The Pokemon Company has shared more details about various events and merchandise that will be available at this year’s Pokemon World Championships in Yokohama.

To start off, a variety of special events will be happening in Yokohama for the week of the tournament from August 8th till August 14th. The events include a Summer Festival Park, a cruise, as well as several performances and shows, You can check out a list below, along with some preview images:

Pokémon Summer Festival Park

A small festival featuring stalls and dances based on the games.

Pokemon Trainer’s Cruise

A Pokemon themed cruise on the luxury liner Japan Maru, where players can battle and trade with their Pokemon

We Move!! Live Show

A ticketed event held at Rinko Park, features a Pikachu dance show and drone show.

Imagination Into The Next Night Show

A ticketed night show also held at Rinko Park, features water displays and projections.

Pokemon Parade and Pikachu March

The Pokemon Parade is a special ticketed parade that will feature various Pokemon. The popular Pikachu March will also run for the event.

Pokegenic Photospots

Various photo spots featuring Pokemon will be present throughout Yokohama.

Finally, we got out first look at some of the exclusive merchandise that will be sold at a Pokemon Center Pop-up store during the event. These include a backpack, shirt, Bear Walker Skateboard a TCG deck, and more. Applications for a slot to visit the store are being taken here.
