As many of you know, Animal Crossing: New Horizons boasts a wide variety of different bugs and fish, many of which can only be caught during specific real world months and seasons.
For those that play in the Northern Hemisphere, the Stringfish has become the topic of numerous jokes and memes. This is because not only is it very difficult to capture a Stringfish, it was also one of the few fish that would not be available to catch after March.
Capturing fish for the museum’s collection is a big part of Animal Crossing, hence making hooking at least one Stringfish before March ended a critical goal for many players.
