Random: Bidoof Takes Over Official Pokemon Social Media Channels For April Fool’s Day
In addition to the uncatchable Magikarp Raid Event, The Pokemon Company prepared another amusing April Fool’s Day prank for fans on their social media accounts.
For several hours, The Pokemon Company’s Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube channels were taken over by Bidoof, the goofy fan favorite plump mouse Pokemon from the Sinnoh Region. The takeover consisted of a series of Bidoof-related posts on Facebook and Twitter, along with a “Bidoof fan-cam” video on Youtube.

At the conclusion of the takeover, The Pokemon Company shared the following message explaining the prank and wishing fans a happy April Fool’s Day:
Trainers,
We deeply apologize for the Bidoofery that occurred on our social media channels today. The content shared falls far below our standards, and we are currently looking into this matter.
We wish you a pleasant April Fools’ Day.
