Earlier this week, McDonald’s Singapore stores began teasing an new Pokemon collaboration that will reportedly start from September 2022. Well, it looks like some folks have already spotted something odd about some of the promo materials that will be used in this collaboration.

As seen in the following photo shared directly with the Nintendosoup team, there is a big mistake on the tray liners used as part of this Pokemon collaboration at McDonald’s Singapore stores. Instead of showing “Pokemon Scarlet” and “Pokemon Violet” as the next Pokemon games launching on 18 November 2022, the tray cover lists “Pokemon Violet” twice as the next Pokemon games while still showing an outdated release window of “Late 2022”.

It’s not clear how this mix-up in game logos and release date occurred, or if McDonald’s Singapore will continue to use these tray covers with these odd mistakes. We’ll report back if we hear more in the future.
