A few months ago, programmer Constantin Liétard (@screenshakes) hosted Twitter Plays Pokemon, an interesting project that allowed Twitter users to play Pokemon Red inside his Twitter Avatar, similar to the famous Twitch Plays Pokemon.

Now, Constantin has returned with another new take on the concept, this time hosted on chat platform Discord. As detailed in the Twitter post below, Constatin has created a discord bot which allows users to play through Pokemon Emerald by pressing different reactions for commands.

As of this writing, players have made it all the way to Mauville City and still have a fairly long journey ahead if they want to complete the game. We will report back with any major developments as they come.
