Random: Repair Technician Discovers Nintendo Switch Cartridges Lodged Into Wii U Disk Drive
For many gaming enthusiasts, Nintendo’s current Switch console represents a major paradigm shift from the company’s past endeavors – one of the biggest being the transition from Nintendo’s previous Wii U console using game discs, to the Nintendo Switch using game cartridges instead. Well, it looks like one particular Wii U user has still managed to mix up the two systems.
Brooklyn Games & Arcade, a store that buys and sells gaming equipment, recently cracked open a family’s Wii U system to find out why it was malfunctioning. What they ended up finding inside was nothing short of shocking – with several Nintendo Switch cartridges lodged right into the Wii U’s disk drive! Apparently, this was the handiwork of the Wii U owner’s son.
Last night @ArcadeBrooklyn I opened a Wii u in order to remove some switch games from the disc drive. Yes you heard correctly, the console owner's son stuck a bunch of switch games in there. pic.twitter.com/a9UGywiWwD

This is certainly one mistake that we wouldn’t wish upon any other Wii U or Switch owners! Thankfully, it looks like the system was repairable thanks to the technician who was looking at it:
