The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) has published a new rating for Red Dead Redemption.

The new rating for the iconic Wild West open world game is for a Switch 2, Playstation 5, and XBox Series version, suggesting that it may be receiving a re-release or remaster for these modern platforms. The title was previously released on the Switch 1 back in 2023, and it is not known if the Switch 2 release will have any special additional features.

The news of another re-release for the first Red Dead Redemption is likely to come across as confusing to many fans, who have been waiting for its follow-up Red Dead Redemption 2 to come to the Switch 2. We will be sure to report back with official info should it become available.
