Remothered: Tormented Fathers is more than a horror game

As an enthusiast arts-lover with a strong passion for cinema and video games, Chris takes his inspiration for Remothered: Tormented Fathers from a variety of movies and games. Movies such as Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock, and The Shining by Stanley Kubrick inspired him deeply. Video games like Silent Hill by Keiichiro Toyama also leave a big impression on him. From a very young age, Chris got intrigued by animated movies and the process behind the animation of the drawings themselves. His fascination with movies and games eventually results in a critically acclaimed survival horror game.

Chris points out that Remothered: Tormented Fathers is about more than horror. The game touches many different subjects, such as the fear of being alone, identity struggles, and the contradictory relation between science and religion. This makes for a pure horror story with complex characters and cinematic storytelling.
