Ridley Was The Most Difficult Fighter To Develop For Smash Bros. Ultimate
Nintendo Dream has published the second part of their interview with Masahiro Sakurai, revealing a few new details about the development of new fighters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
When discussing about Ridley, the highly requested Metroid character, Sakurai revealed Ridley was one of the most difficult fighters to put into the game because of his large size.
To make Ridley look bigger, Sakurai had his legs and arms bended, similar to how Ridley looks in the old games:
Ridley was perhaps one of the most difficult fighters to implement because of his size.
Sakurai decided to have his arms and legs bend like his NES/SNES appearances to still give him the impression he was big. pic.twitter.com/vrHSziSMC5
