A new rumor has surfaced about a potential unannounced game for the Switch 2.

This rumor comes via the Linkedin page seemingly belonging to a 3D character modeler based in Japan. The page lists his most recent work as a contract job for Nintendo that is “the Sequel of Nintendo’s SRPG(Tactical role-playing game) on Switch2”. The modeler’s past credits include work for Cygames and SEGA.

The wording of the credit has many speculating that he could be referring to an unannounced new game in the Fire Emblem series, which is Nintendo’s flagship SRPG franchise. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
