Rumor: 7-Star Mewtwo Tera Raid Battle Could Be Coming To Pokemon Scarlet/Violet
Following a recent update to Pokemon Scarlet And Violet, dataminers have discovered some interesting code hinting at an upcoming 7-Star Raid Battle that could be coming to the game.
This discovery was first highlighted by dataminer @mattyoukhana_, who uncovered a new line of unused dialogue in the latest update. This line states “Mew is going to go all out against this formidable opponent!” and was initially believed to be related to DLC content.
The latest update for Scarlet/Violet has some adjustments to text, and some additions for future DLC content.

However, further research conducted by fellow dataminer @Sibuna_Switch revealed that this line is actually used when Mew is sent out to battle in a 7-Star Raid Battle against a Mewtwo, granting Mew a buff for the duration of the raid battle. This effect is specific to 7-Star Mewtwo raids, and does not occur if Mewtwo is modded into lower tiers of raid battles.
SV version 1.3.2 added a new, interesting message: "Mew is going to go all out against this formidable opponent!"

I also tried modding wild Mewtwo and lower tier Tera Raids, but this effect didn't occur. I believe it's specific to 7-Star Mewtwo raids.
With Mewtwo events coming soon to Pokémon UNITE and Mew to Pokémon GO, I wonder when we're going to get Mighty Mewtwo raids in SV?

All in all, this discovery strongly suggests that The Pokemon Company is preparing for a 7-Star event raid featuring Mewtwo, although they have not made any official announcements for this so far. That said, we caution readers to take this information with a grain of salt. We will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
