Rumor: Dataminers Discover Evidence Of Possible Future Courses Coming To Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC
Earlier today, Nintendo released Wave 1 of the Booster Course Pass DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, leaving five more waves of courses to be added over the course of the next year or so.
Barely a day after the update dropped, dataminers have already uncovered loads of evidence hinting at possible future courses coming to the DLC. Firstly, dataminers @Fishguy6564 and @Oatmealdome on Twitter showed off an “unlocked” selection screen for future courses. Although the names and pictures are obscured, the data does show where each of the courses originates from, which could be helpful for fans looking to narrow down the possible future additions.
[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]@fishguy6564 made a patch to “unlock” the other cups, allowing us to see what consoles the upcoming courses come from.
However, keep in mind this may be incorrect due to the amount of missing data! (The game might be loading bad data from somewhere.) https://t.co/4JtfalviAx

Separately, other dataminers such as MrNantendo discovered a banner image in the files which has pictures of courses that have not been added to the game, possibly suggesting they are coming in future updates. Although difficult to make out, fans believe that the image contains pictures of the following tracks:
- Sydney Sprint (Tour)
- New York Minute (Tour)
- Singapore Speedway (Tour)
- Sydney Sprint (Tour)
- Mario Circuit (SNES)
- Sunset Wilds (SNES)
- DK Summit (Wii) -Maple Treeway (Wii)
- Waluigi Stadium (GCN)
- Rainbow Road (3DS)

Of course, until Nintendo officially announces any of these tracks, we caution readers to take these datamines with a grain of salt, as plans could always be changing behind the scenes. Stay tuned for more official news about the Booster Course Pack as it comes.
