A few months back, rumors began to circulate that Halo: The Master Chief Collection was in the works for Switch 2, a move that would be highly exciting for fans of Halo and the Switch alike.

Unfortunately, it seems this release might come with a few caveats. During an episode of ‘The Xbox Two’ podcast, The Verge‘s Tom Warren said that The Master Chief Collection might not contain “every game” according to what he’s heard behind the scenes.

I don’t know if it’s going to be ‘collection’, in the sense – I wouldn’t think of it as every game, put it that way… [that’s] probably the most I can say on it.

If Warren’s claims are accurate, it could mean that only a few of the titles in the Master Chief Collection will be coming to Switch 2. However, until we get an official announcement from Nintendo or Microsoft, whether any of them are coming to Switch 2 at all remain up in the air. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
