Rumor: Industry Insider Claims Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster Does Exist, But Is Not Coming To Switch
Earlier this month, we reported on some mysterious listings suggesting that a Mass Effect Trilogy was coming to Switch.
Today, some new information about this rumored title has been shared by industry insider Jeff Grubb. According to Grubb, the Mass Effect Trilogy remaster is indeed real and called “Legendary Edition”.
However, contrary to the mysterious listings, it seems that it will not be releasing for Switch, at least not for the moment.
“EA has multiple games coming to Nintendo Switch and Mass Effect is definitely not one of them. Not yet, anyhow. If that happens, it won’t happen in that one-year window that they talked about in their last shareholder meeting.”
Back in August, Grubb also apparently claimed to be “pretty confident” that the Mass Effect Trilogy remaster would be announced sometime in October 2020, so we probably will not have to wait too long before EA clears things up. We will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
