Aside from the upcoming Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Remake and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Nintendo’s lineup of games for 2024 is a complete mystery, leading many to speculate wildly about what projects the company has in the works.

Adding to this speculation is a prominent leaker known as Midori. While they are most well-known for leaking information regarding upcoming SEGA projects, their latest post is about an in-development Nintendo game. According to Midori, a game codenamed “Banquet” being developed at Nintendo, although they did not give any further details about what the game is about or what series it belongs to.

Some guesses for what this game could be are a new Kirby game, which are known to have codenames related to food, or a new Mario Party game, with the most recent title being codenamed “Buffet”. That said, without any further details, this rumored game could literally be from any franchise under Nintendo’s purview, or something else entirely.
