A new rumor has surfaced hinting that Rockstar Games’ highly acclaimed and beloved Red Dead Redemption could be coming to Switch.

This rumor comes via the recently updated official website for Rockstar Games. According to dataminers, the site includes references to a game titled “Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar Presents Ver)” which is believed to be an updated re-release of the first game for modern consoles. This includes a new logo, as well as placeholder buttons implying that the game will release on Switch in addition to PC and other consoles.

Plus, Rockstar included RDR1 to the Ratings list of the modern site modules.

This news comes shortly after a new rating for Red Dead Redemption appeared on the South Korean ratings board, adding further fuel to speculation that a remaster is in the works. We will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
