For the past few weeks, numerous leaks relating to the Switch’s successor have surfaced online, mostly relating to its appearance and specs.

This latest leak is about a new software feature that the Switch 2 will have. According to datamines and SDK leaks circulating on the Switch 2 Discord server, the Switch 2 will have a new online social hub for players to interact with one another, accessed by using the mysterious “C” button that has been seen on the hardware leaks.

This new social hub is codenamed “Campus” and will have the following features:

• Group Chat and Voice Chat functionality
• Support for up to 12 Switch Online subscribers
• Screen sharing
• “Nothing like Miiverse”

That said, as with all reports of this nature, we caution readers to take this with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
