Yesterday, Bethesda announced and released The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, a remake of their iconic Fantasy RPG for PC, Xbox, and Playstation.

While the remaster seems a bit too much for the Switch to handle, it might be heading to the hybrid console’s successor. According to insider eXtas1stv, Bethesda is already working on a Switch 2 version of Oblivion Remastered, although he did not provide any further details beyond that.

The same insider previously claimed that Doom: The Dark Ages was also heading to Switch 2, but we have yet to hear anything of the sort from either Bethesda nor Nintendo. We will be sure to report back with updates as they come.
