Square Enix has announced a free demo for SaGa Emerald Beyond.

The demo will release on April 4th 2024 for Switch and other platforms, presumably allowing players to try out the game before its official launch on April 25th. At the time of this writing, the exact contents of the demo are not known.

[Update]: More details about the demo have been shared. Firstly, the main character of each demo will be different depending on the console, with the Switch version focusing on the witch Ameya, the Playstation version featuring the puppeteer Tsunanori Mido, and the Steam version featuring the mechanical idol Diva No. 5. Save data will carry over to the full version of the game.
