Smash Pro Gamer Tells Immigration Officer He Is Here To Play Smash Bros. Ultimate
Abadango, a top Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player from Japan, recently went overseas to participate in an eSports tournament for the game.
When the immigration officer was checking his passport, they asked him several questions that led to questions you would never usually hear in an airport:
SNB (@Abadango) February 22, 2019
Officer: What did you come here for?
Abadango: For a game tournament.
Officer: What game?
Abadango: Smash Bros.
Officer: Who do you fight as?
Abadango: Inkling
Officer: Oh… Inkling huh (shakes head). I’m using Donkey Kong. Any other fighters you play as?
Abadango: Wario and Meta Knight.
Officer: Meta Knight is good, but Inkling is crap.
Looks like the immigration officer really hates Inkling! What an interesting conversation to have!
