In a recent DualShockers interview, SNK’s Yasuyuki Oda was asked about the possibility of  The King of Fighters XIV on Nintendo Switch.

Oda said it is definitely possible for The King of Fighters XIV to appear on Switch, but there are some hurdles to clear first. SNK will have to first solve technical issues to ensure the game runs smoothly on the system.

While there are internal discussions about porting the game to Switch, it’s still “really super-super early” as nothing has been decided at this point of time, and the game is not in the pre-production stage for the system yet.
