SEGA has announced the release date for the Switch 2 Edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

The Switch 2 Edition of the latest Sonic Racing game will be available digitally from December 4th 2025, with a full game in-cart physical release coming in 2026. Owners of the Switch 1 version will be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 Edition by purchasing a paid upgrade pack. The upgrade pack will be on a 50% discount until December 10th, and will come with the Werehog Pack DLC until December 17th.
