While Sonic the Hedgehog fans still eagerly await the next big adventure for the blue blur, a different kind of competitive racing experience is now on the horizon!

Steamforged Games, a UK company in the business of adapting numerous videogames into board/card games, has announced that it is now working on an officially-licensed Sonic the Hedgehog card game. For now, we only have a logo (seen above) and the synopsis below:

“Sonic’s the name, and speed is the game—literally! Join the beloved blue blur in a competitive card racing game where you’ll collect power-ups and rings to win.

It’s fast family fun you’ll race through again and again.”

Currently, Steamforged Games has not revealed a release window for this new Card Game. We’ll report back if we hear more about this exciting project in the future!
