A Japanese Zelda speedrunner could have been the first in the world to beat The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch 2 Edition during the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience event in Tokyo, Japan.

The speedrunner defeated the final boss in just 15 minutes – 5 minutes on Handheld mode and 10 minutes on TV mode. After beating the boss, the game’s ending started playing at the event. This feat surprised many Japanese fans.
