Square Enix has announced a new soundtrack album for the Final Fantasy series.

The album is titled “#SQkawaii Sounds -Final Fantasy-” and includes 20 tracks of remixed music from the first game up until FFXVI. The arrangements are described as having “a kawaii future bass style with sparkling synths and upbeat rhythms”. There is also themed merch available, featuring Final Fantasy heroines and mascots hanging out in a game center.

The album and merch are due to go on sale starting December 19th 2024. You can check out the official webpage here for more details.
